    Well,

Bought these Clinchers during the summer, on a trip to Athlone with LennyMc!

I used them in 3 races, so a total of about 140kms on them, total. No kerbs or crashes!

Im trying to sell as i am considering buying Fulcrum 1s instead.

They are in perfect condition. Selling wheelset only, no tyres/cassette.

    http://planetxireland.com/products-page/wheelsets/planet-x-52mm-clincher-wheelset-new-logo/

    Retailing at €630.

I am looking to get €480 for them, otherwise i will probably hold onto them.

Can post pics, but they are the very same as the link, no marks at all.

    Thanks for looking.

Thanks for the decent offer Big mce. I believe PX have reduced their retail to 590. To reflect that I'll reduce asking price to 450......

I am reviving this advert, if ok to do so.

Wheels are back up for sale, i have found a set of hand-builts that i really really want!

As these wheels now have another few races/spins on them (total 500kms approx), and the fact that they are a few months older than in original advert, asking price now €400. No marks/mishaps/damage.

Meath based, in Dublin city centre often. Cheers.

Thanks Mloc, if you met me halfway, at 375 I'll bring them into city tomorrow (assuming that suits!) and you'll be riding them at the weekend.

350e is the most I could at the moment. If you change your mind give me a shout.

At the minute i have a pic of the wheels while attached to the bike a few weeks ago!

If you are interested in them i could try loads a few more close-ups tonight for you.

How much did you buy the wheels for?

Also, that bike is beautiful. :O

Thanks Zyzz (how do you pronounce that!?).

From memory i think i got them for just under the 600mark, from the shop in Athlone. (Recommended Retail Price, like most things cycling-realted, has gone up in the interim!).

I will meet your last asking of 375 and can collect in Dublin.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 255 ✭✭markie379

I would have thought that padjo had accepted an offer of 360 and that would have become the new asking price when mloc pulled out???

as per the rules I believe ROK ON has offered asking price.....which im happy to accept. Will you please PM your number and we'll arrange meeting? Thanks ROK ON.

€360 became the asking price when mloc123's offer was originally accepted, which means markie379 was next to offer asking on this and gets first refusal

    Beasty

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,831 ✭✭✭ROK ON

    Ok.
On that basis I withdraw my offer of 375. If sale falls through I would expect to have right of refusal at 360.
Best of luck with the sale.
