    Hi

Has anyone any experience of the Professional Diploma in Employment law in UCD? What did you think of it/workload. I've been looking into for a while but it's pricey! €4200!

Or, attended the 'Handling Employment Law Matters' course? Any feedback?

I've also looked at the Law Society Dip in Employment law.

Does anyone have any recommendations or feeback on the three of them? It would be appreciated! :D

    Hey arealhumanbein

I have just completed the Law Soc Diploma in Employment Law. Happy with it. Ran from April to September this year with a closed book exam at the end. I'd recommend it, though I am not a Lawyer, I work in HR. It is geared more towards the legal profession but it worked for me. Cost about €2,350 or thereabouts which was cheaper than the UCD course.

Happy to elaborate if that helps.

OP, what do you hope to achieve from the course? Are you a lawyer working in the area who needs a more detailed or specialised practical knowledge of the area, or are you perhaps more interested in the academic and theoretcial side of employment regulation? If it is the former then the Law Soc course is probably more appropriate, whereas if it is the latter than the UCD course may be what you require.
