After seeing another question on here about outdoor oil burners, it got me thinking. My one is a firebird, the last time i had a good look at it I remember there were 2 maybe 3 dials on it.

Can anyone suggest the correct 'nunmbers' i should have these dial turned too?

Cos if there is a more eficient way to run it, I'd appreciate any advise :-)

You need a flue gas anyliser in order to set efficiecy on the boiler, you playing with setting you have no clue about will get you in ****e.

The only dial you can adjust yourself is the boiler 'stat.

OR to be more specific, what is the most economical temp setting to have on the external burner. I'm sure there is an economical setting on it, but it's ages since I had a good look at it. The last time, I needed to bleed the oil line of air. not bad for a Girl.......with 'no clue'
