Essential Security Software
Red Rua
Hi,
I just would like some advice on essential security software I should install. I am running Windows 7 and use Firefox as my web browser.
I have Avira anti-virus, Malwarebytes and I use Sandboxie for less secure sites. I there anything else I should definitely have. I don't want anything too intrusive and I realise I am never going to be 100% secure. I am not sure if I should have a separate firewall, is there something as part of Windows already?
Thanks.

Yep I'm just going blind though !
Worth installing these firefox extensions
These two would be essential in regards to security

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/noscript/?src=hp-dl-mostpopular
These three will protect you against tracking/privacy issues(the third one will let you know about the safety of sites)

It's not websites that are less or not secure, it's your web browser. Using sandboxie only makes sense if you use it consequently for all websites, i.e. do not run your browser outside the sandbox (unless you install an update or addon).
