Renewable Energy/Sustainable jobs

    Hi to all

    I often read the posts here and from what I can see many of you have good knowledge in the renewable and green areas.

    I have an undergraduate degree in Environmental Science. I am considering doing a masters but does anybody have any advice for me regarding where the jobs are? Are there many jobs in renewable energy in Ireland at the moment? or perhaps a specific field?

    It depends what area you want to get into! It certainly is still buoyant in Ireland in comparison to other sectors. Unfortunately, alot of the jobs on offer are commission only sales jobs for unscrupulous companies!

    Do you have a specific area in mind you would like to get into?

    wind energy? thermal? hydro?

    Are there good opportunities in any of these areas?

    Sorry what I meant by that, was what department? As in would you work in sales etc or is it more product development etc
