Carer's Allowance and PAYE Tax Credit

I am a sole trader and my wife is getting the carer's allowance for looking after her incapacitated uncle who is over 65. My wife has no other income except for the carer's allowance which amounts to about €12,000. Is she entitled to the PAYE credit when I am filing my tax return as the carer's allowance is taxable??? I see that we are entitled to the home carer's credit.

If your wife pays any PAYE she entitled to the tax credit.
