Venus this morning

    Guys, can someone confirm for me what the star just to the left of Venus was this morning. I think it was Regulus but I'm not 100% sure as I don't know if the the app I was using on the phone was correct as I was using it indoors at work.
    I thought my eyes were seeing double walking in through the car park this morning.
    It was an impressive sight to see them that close together. You can't beat a nice clear sky in the morning!;)

    You're right, it was Regulus. Here's a little reading.

    Yes - I saw Venus early this morning at about 6am with Regulus just off to the left - absolutely beautiful!
