Just noticed you can get this family ticket

Family 1 Day Short Hop €17.30

1 Day unlimited travel for 2 adults and 4 Children (u16yrs).
Valid on all Dublin Bus scheduled services including Xpresso and on DART and Suburban Rail services.

It says Suburban Rail services, would this include the train from dublin to drogheda? I usually bring my little brother to dublin when he visits and that costs us 22.50 for the return on the train alone so this would be great. I looked up the map of suburban rail and found this which seems it would include drogheda but just checking.

as far as I know that ticket is only valid in the short hop zone which is defined as
The Short Hop Zone includes all stations in the Dublin area from Greystones to Balbriggan and Commuter Stations from Dublin City Centre to Maynooth and from Dublin Heuston to Hazelhatch including all DART services.
