    Hi there

Am at Further Information stage of planning, all is looking good at the moment. Will be hoping to start build around end of March. House is a block cavity, bungalow with attic conversation, 1700 sq.ft in total. Probably going the direct labour route. Was looking at installing a hybrid heating system - air to water heat pump combined with a gas boiler. Heat pump for underfloor and low temp rads upstairs and gas for hot water.
Anyone here with any experience of similar??

    All help gratefully accepted

    Thanks

Have you looked into a heat pump to do both your heating and DHW? It might bring down your overall cost?
The Daikin units can heat a specific cylinder up to 40 degrees and use an immersion to bring up the remaining temperature.
You could avail of night rates for cheaper electricity.
