Virtual Network Software

Hi all, I've just started studying for the CCNA, I have been in the IT sector for a few years but I'm relatively new to networking. Does anyone know of any software out there that lets you create a virtual network just so I can visualize what is happening? I think this would help me a lot in understanding what is going on as unfortunately i don't have access to any lab/server room.

I'm not even sure if such software exists as Google hasn't helped but then again, I'm not fully sure what i should be searching for.

For Cisco,to learn and speak their language,i've used Cisco Packet Tracer.

GNS3 is another handy app with a few more advanced features than CPT, but it requires an IOS image to run and can't emulate switches.
