More tongue in cheek,no offence meant. Its just that we cant really have a "National Trails Day" when 99% of the trails in this country are off-limits to mtber's.Coillte banned the Rendezvous meet-up last month, and CI from what I've heard don't seem to be trying to speak up for mtber's to Coillte.Plus for a country that needs tourism money, its mad to ignore the money that mtber's from other countrys would bring here if we developed our trails.Wales and Scotland welcome mtber's and the money they bring, its a pity our goverment doesnt see the potential.

Yes indeed! National trails day me Swiss!

Cycling off-road is illegal apart from on a few busted up trails...well apart from Ballhoura which is decent, but that's down to the local bikers as much as anyone else..

    Shameless plug! :D

A good sense of direction needed as most O.S maps are outdated due to Coillte's method of forestry Clearcutting..
