    Hi,
I am getting married (as a second time rounder) in December. After much thought and a little bit of panic, I have opted for a very simple sleeveless, floorlength, straight, cowl neck dress in ivory. (It was actually a bridesmaids dress)

I am having a few crises with regard to the following:

1)What style / type of bridesmaid dresses should I go for
    2) I am looking for a faux fur or fuzzy wool elegant funky stole / shrug type thing to wear over the dress - I am thinking a kind of duck egg colour or a silvery frosty number
    3) I was teetering between being a Grecian type look or a 40s type look funked up and was thinking of adding a brooch to the waist of the dress with some kind of either glitzy trim/ fandango hanging down from the brooch in the duck egg colour as I would like to bring a bit of colour to the whole thing
    4) Ideas for shoes.. am thinking a plain closed toe or peep toe with a shoe clip for the colour injection also
    5) all styles need to suit long blonde hairstyle with flowers / groovy clips through hair.
Basically, I would like to funk up the dress. I need the funk. I am missing the funk and the ideas are running dry.

Any and all ideas gratefully received. :)

Sounds lovely. I wore a tea length dress with a vintage broach and birdcage veil.etsy.com is Fab for original stuff. If you are anywhere near Waterford there is a shop called bonzie and Yvonne makes the most amazing wedding accessories. I wanted everythin:-) think she has site and Facebook to. Good luck you will be stunner!,,

Thanks lily09 - I like your style - that is almost the look I was going for - kind of couture tea length, but my body decided it didnt support that look:) (I have just had a little baby a few months ago...)
Anyway, I checked out that bozie, I like it. Etsy is great too, had been looking for bits on there alright.
    Thanks again,
    :))
