Stag Weekends in the North-West

Hi Folks

I have been asked to be best man at a very good mates wedding next year. Ofcourse, the first thing I thought of when asked to be a part of this special day was............STAG-DO!!!!!!:)

Have to be honest, this is the first stag-do I have been tasked with organising....hence joining this board.

I am thinking of going up round Donegal direction, I know that my mate is very much into Quad Biking, Go-Karting (although this has been done to death on previous stags), Paintballing, pretty much anything that involves running or driving around like a madman for a few hours lol.

Can anyone please give me the lowdown on what the craic is and also, if anyone has any good pubs, clubs, stripclubs, hotels, B+B's ect that they know of, please feel free to share.

The stag isnt until next year.

Roughly how many of you will there be? renting a house might be a lot cheaper than a hotel.

My knowledge extend to pretty much Letterkenny but I'll so my best to help.

Go-karting is available at Letterkenny Karting Centre on the Ramelton Road. The Grand Prix would but suitable to a Stag-do at 45e (needs a minimum of 12 people).

Also nearby is Campsie Karting Centre in Campsie in Derry.

For paintballing there is The Old Foundry in Lurgy, Letterkenny. 20e entry and 5e per cartridge used.

This place does and adults only package of indoor airsoft target shooting, archery & crazy golf €16 - €20 pp depending on numbers. Might be worth considering depending on the time of year and expected weather conditions

If your planning on staying in Letterkenny- Quality Court (aka Dillons) is smack bang in the middle and very decent prices and therefore hotspot for hens and stag groups.

For clubs, no doubt you'll end up the in the pulse- don't fancy your chances finding a strip club though!
