I think the restriction is on selling trailers

My question is this, will all trailers currently used in a public place have to have approval, or do the new rules just apply to newly manufactured trailers.
Could my home made unapproved trailer be confiscated for not having a stamp?

Also, I belive I can have an 'individual vehicle approval' test done to get it stamped, does anyone know what this will cost?

    1. No.
    2. Only newly manufactured trailers being sold after the dates mentioned in the document.
    3. No. See 2 above
    4. Only if you are a manufacturer/trailer retailer will you need this test done.

Maybe in the future ALL trailers will need this test which will be a good idea.

^^^ Agreed... I have always been of the opinion that trailers should be subject to testing of some sort. Far too many malojans of yokes going around built out of bits and bobs. A well built home or independently built trailer should fly any tests too.

But no, you don't need a stamp for it now.
