guttering downpipe flexible

Am putting up 2nd hand aluminium gutters on the slatted shed.
It would be really handy if the top 3-4ft of the downpipe was flexible so I could direct water into the tanks when i like. I'll prob have sewer pipe for the rest so the flex portion can be put in/out of the sewer really easily.

Had been thinking of something like 4" corrugated pneumatic hosing. But have no idea where to get it and afraid it wont be cheap.... any bright ideas/suggestions?

Cheers I'll try them.
Only looking for 4 * 4ft lengths so the thought of a roll feels ominous but i'll chance them and see how I go.

Here's my suggestion......

Directly underneath the gutter downspout you have a foot of socketed* wavin pipe,

secured to the wall with 2-3 clips.

At the bottom of those you have a single socketed 45.

Underneath the 45 you have two hoppers side by side

One leads to the drain and one leads to the tank.

I'll leave you to devise the mechanism to rotate the 45 but if it's in a safe place where it wont be at risk from knocks you could simply position the hoppers at 5 or 6 feet off the ground and use a longer drop pipe.


*the socket is to stop the pipe from dropping down through the brackets, there are other ways to skin that particular cat.
