I just got 2 of these for the big mans sack: http://www.misco.ie/product/OB188876/Sumvision-Cyclone-Astroplus-7-Tablet-OPEN-BOX-BOX-AND-PRODUCT-PRISTINE-CLEARANCE

Postage is a killer @ €15 but its not too bad if you get more than one item.

While they are listed as "open box", both mine were brand new. In fact one of the tabs had 16Gb instead of the stated 8Gb of memory. Warranty on OB items is 30 days (or 3 months according to their CS staff) but its still 30 days more than you get from Chinese sellers. And of course, there is no running of the customs gauntlet.

These tabs are sisters/cousins to the Scroll Excel, Ployer Momo9 and other units so there should be plenty of ROMs available.

I very happy with mine so far. Netflix isn't working yet but there is a fix apparently.

Looks like a decent deal, avoiding the customs is a big incentive.

Looks like these tabs are now out of stock.

I'm really impressed with the 2 that I purchased. I flashed Clockworkmod recovery and am now running on Cyanogenmod 10. The tabs are really stable and fast with pretty good battery life.

As previously mentioned, there are many clones of this model. Some of the more common names are Ployer Momo9, Scroll Excel, Iview 760TPC. All these ROMs should be compatible with the Astro+.

Is that an unofficial build of cyanogenmod 10 then?
