I cant post in the eflow forum - maybe a move ?

anyway on the 30th i used the M50 toll once.

now i did forget to pay the thing before 8pm following day and paid it about an hour ago. €3

it was a slip of the mind thing, have used eflow a lot before and have a tonne of receipts to prove it.

should this be ok or is there more needed ?

i know it says pay before 8 and all but it just happened that i forgot all about it until it was just hours too late.

You'll most likely get a letter in the post for a late payment fee of 6 euro. You'll have a while to pay this before it jumps to 40 euro.

The 3 euro you just paid is likely to have been for nothing.

If you use it a lot it might be worth setting up an account. I just did that recently cause I kept forgetting.

The €3 he just paid is not for nothing. If he does get the late charge, he can ring and pay the balance of €3 over the phone, thus the €6 fine being paid.

Give them a ring anyway, same happened to my wife and after calling them, they were kind enough to accept the payment without any penalties.

You can be lucky and they system doesnt update and record you as being late.

I was about 12 hours late paying my toll a couple of weeks ago and got away with paying €3

    Perhaps they were late paying?

    Hi all,

Just to reiterate what I posted here, we are currently implementing changes to our Talk To forum. Keep an eye for an announcement there soon

I would be happy check it for you if you'd like Kopparberg Strawberry and Lime. Can you PM me (Ciaran and John) your full name, car reg, address and confirm you are the vehicle owner (for data protection reasons).

Journeys must be paid before 8pm the day after a journey is made to avoid late payment penalties. If you are ever paying after the 8pm deadline, it is best to get in contact with us before making the payment.

It is possible to Pre-Pay for your journeys. The best option is a free Video a/c (recommended for occasional M50 users) or a Tag a/c (recommended for frequent M50 and other tolls).

    Advantages of eFlow a/c's are:
    • Discounts on M50 tolls €0.50 (Video a/c) €1.00 (Tag a/c)
    • No penalties
    • Automatic payments
    • Multiple vehicles can be covered
    • No payment deadlines
    • On-line a/c self management
    • Multiple payment methods (VISA, MasterCard, Laser and Direct Debit Plus Scheme)
    • On-line a/c setup www.eflow.ie with instant cover for the M50 toll
Hope this helps and we are standing by for further assistance,

    Regards,
    Keith

Me too. Rarely use the M50 and the guy could see I never darken his door and just waived the late fee.

In fairness to eflow, their customer service has improved a lot compared to when they started, they're usually grand about accepting late payments without penalty. Once the motorist doesnt start ripping the piss.
