Is there any way of blocking someone's check ins from your feed while still staying friends with them? Stupid question probably but I'm curious.

Have you tried blocking the actual app 'FourSquare'? That normally does the job :)

OP, could you clarify whether you want to block their Foursquare updates on your Facebook feed or do you want to block their Foursquare updates from your Foursquare feed?

If it's the former, then kerry4sam's suggestion is the way to go.

Now, if that doesn't work, then go to your friend's profile, hover your cursor over "Friends" until the menu appears, then click on "Settings" under "Show in News Feed" and select "Only Important Updates". That way you'll still get their status updates, but won't get Foursquare check-in's and the like. (or click "Unsubscribe" and you'll never see them in your newsfeed but they'll never know :))

If it's the latter however, I'm not sure it's possible.

Oh yeah, sorry I meant blocking her foursquare check ins from my feed on facebook but not blocking the rest of her updates if that makes sense?

Never thought of actually blocking foursquare :o
