Hey I just recently got back into 40K and I was just wondering if there are any clubs in Co.Cork? Iam based in Mallow town N.Cork so if there's a club there or near abouts then that would be fantastic otherwise anywhere within reach of public transport would do just fine :) also it doesn't have to be GW specific I'd actually like to immerse myself into miniature gaming altogether. Also I am aware that Other realms in cork rents out one or two gaming tables and sells hobby supplies but if there's anywhere else please let me know!

    Wow… this forum… is just… dead…

Or possibly no one who is aware of a club in Cork has seen the thread yet. A bunch of people saying they don't know anything to help you wouldn't really contribute much to the conversation, would it?

The only suggestion I can think to offer is to drop the WarpCon organisers a line. They're bound to have someone who look after wargames at the con, and they may be able to offer you some suggestions.

Yup was chatting to one or two of them on w-ired.org and I was referring who this is one of the quietest forums I've ever seen with a lot of threads not being touched in years and others not being touched in months

Not sure if it's close to you but I've asked this question on the w-ired recently as mate is returning to cork this month.

There are a few lads over on W-ired based around Mallow IIRC.
Hopefully you get more responses over there.

I think a lot of the general wargaming chat tends to go on on dedicated forums.

It was just thought that because if the amount of traffic I saw in the Airsoft forum and the fact that it is the main Airsoft forum in Ireland I figure it was the same no matter where you went on boards
