From the little I saw of it, it looked more "Mrs Brown's Boys-ish"

"ethnic comedy" - it's down there in the gutter with the likes of Mrs Brown, Give My Head Peace and At Home With The Kumars - I've no idea why the Beeb continue to run these kinds of shows, although it's obviously it's lowest common denominator TV - comedy playing on tired stereotypes, it belongs in the 1970s with the likes of Love Thy Neighbour.

Absolute crap. I always got the feeling it was only made so the BBC could meet some sort of an ethnic quota.

It wasn't that bad FFS. I've only seen one or two episodes and bits of a few others but it was a bit of a laugh. Not in the same league as Goodness Gracious Me for sure but fairly OK.

If we all had the same taste, then what a boring world we'd live in.

Maybe it's meant to be bad?? Anyway, I like it, it doesn't try to be clever, harmless laugh on a Friday evening.

I like it. Its gentle enough humour but also quite brave. "Lets do a sitcom which has some mild jokes at the expense of Islam" can't have been an easy sell at the BBC.

Adil Ray (Mr Khan) can at least go about his life without being instantly recognised.
