    Hello All,

Sorry in advance if this is not in the right section did not know where to put this to be honest. I have a pair of Tasco binoculars here with a rattle inside the lens area, It seems the inner lens on the eyepiece is loose but not broken. Is there a way to repair this or can I bring them to a shop or person to repair?

If required I can post a picture up its quite hard to explain the problem.

    Thanks in advance.

By the sounds of it, I think the best option is to drop into a camera store and see if it can be fixed. The glass used in binoculars is usually of very high quality and I would not advocate any DIY work. The cost of repairs may be quite high though :/

Tascos are very unlikely to be economical to repair.

Thanks for the replys. I have unscrewed the eye piece out and can kinda gain acces to it but dont want to risk doing further damage. I read online that you can put a small spot of super glue or resin on this part but gaining access is the problem. I appreciate there not a high quality pair of binoculars coming in about €70. Im sure someone is handy with this kinda thing. I dont even know of any camera shops in my area only chemists etc.

There is a repair thread in the photography forum run by zerohamster. I'm not sure if he does work on binoculars, but give him a try.
