How do you imagine your death?

I guess I will die sometime around 2051 from a cancer that the doctors could treat but due to my credit being low my insurance provider will not pay.

My family will be poor so being buried will be out of the question so my son in law from my third marriage will sell my body to a fuel company for recycling into a bio diesel.

So how do you see your death?

That's what you get for marrying your son in law.

Hopefully in my sleep any other way scares the bejebus out of me.

Given my less than healthy lifestyle, I'll probably die in my 40s of cancer, as is quite common in my family.

Hopefully though, I'll live to 80 and die in my sleep. Best way to go.

I'd like to imagine I'll die peacefully in my sleep like my grandad did.

Not kicking and screaming, like the 42 passengers on the bus he was driving.

    Slow and agonizingly painful

Either cancer (prostate), heart disease or brain tumor. There are multiple cases of each in my closest extended family. I would like to be shot in the head, either temple or mouth preferably, though. Quick and painless.

I expect I will get some terminal illness lie cancer and slowly Die but rather than simply succumb to it i'll go out in a hail of bullets probably bringing others to hell with me...

    Possibly

I imagine death to be like before I was born, blank and meaningless, and the road to it like a start of the road of life, hazy and un-understandable...

Imagine being killed by an actual Darwin award...the irony would be ridiculous.

Everyone seems to say this, but imho dieing in my sleep scares me a hell of a lot more, Id much rather know exactly whats going to happen as much as i can and have enough time to go in a way i wouldnt mind so much, plus its a morbid curiosity of mine just to see what happens, who/what i "see" just before/at death etc etc

Ideally with any luck Id like to live as long as i possibly can last, even if its just even part of me thats still alive aka when ive reached well old age and am being kept alive artificially etc, Im staying until the very last smallest part of me dies, noones pulling the plug on me no matter what i tells you, seriously!

I always had a feeling if die young. My girlfriend hates when I say that though. I'm 25 now so probably not long left. :pac:

When I was younger I used to actually hope I'd die young so that I didn't have to live through the deaths of my family and friends. Is that a bit weird?!!

I was always told Quality Street was for grannies.

Hope that's not reflected in the hookers :/

I won't die. Longevity treatment will be plausible and affordable in my lifetime, after which I will download my conciousness into a golden robot not unlike Johnny 5 at the end of Short Circuit 2, except shaped liked a bipedal dolphin.

I'll probably drop dead in the street aged about 55 like one of my grandmothers. My other grandmother died at 73 of a dementia related illness and one grandfather died in his fifties of a stroke and the other at 71 of a very aggressive and painful cancer.

Both of my parents have heart trouble so I reckon I'm a goner.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,080 ✭✭✭✭Maximus Alexander

I'm actually pretty confident that my conciousness will still be around at the heat death of the universe. That's going to suck.

Halfway through my bucket list already.
