I can hear myself speak in my headset

Hi all, I just got a new headset for skype and it works great, the only issue I'm having is when I speak the mic feed goes directly to the headset speakers, it is not feedback, reverb or anything else, I would like to know how to disable mic feed going to the headset speakers without muting or lowering the mic level.

I have the logitech USB H340, just out of the box today and at first it wasn't so bad, but after a 1hr conversation to Denmark it's giving me a headache.

Anyone got any ideas on how to help me? I've been through all the settings on my computer "sound" and on skype and I can't find a way to fix it.

    Cheers

actually... any chance you could supply or pm me a link to download the clearchat driver, can't seem to find one around.

without some kind of 3rd party app, it cannot be fixed on a vista os.

Are you using a Laptop or do you have any other Webcam with built in mic?

If you do you need to disable the second Mic

The clearchat doesn't require a driver.
