I've been asked to do a 3 month unpaid internship starting pretty soon. It's in an area that i did in college and something i really want experience in, and on a project that i want to be a part of.
Is my only option to sign-off and live off my savings , since its not on job bridge ?
Im going in this week to tell them either way but im just curious.

Approach the company and ask them to take you on the job-bridge scheme, some are happy to oblige

There are company requirements in order to qualify- their detailed on the job bridge site

I have heard about companies having filled their Jobbridge numbers still asking people to participate outside of that scheme and wondered what options to the intern there were. Sounded like a bit of a dead end unless the actual participation counted for a lot.
I guess it counts as experience for future job prospects though.

well i went down today, they said ill have to sign off. But maybe i can get on the WPP scheme(188e) instead of jobbridge (188+50) but i doubt that coz why would the requirements for employer be any different. oh well. have some money saved from jsa so should be ok.
