If you look at donedeals new Search listening, rather than the age of the ad listed to the right you now get the age of the car.

I know they announced this a week ago or more, but it seems to have come into effect over night.

I think it's a good idea, they still stay in order of date published. Only thing is when you click into the ad it still gives you how old it is, but I presume that will change.

In fairness to them, there is nothing stopping people putting fake Ferrari's on carzone either.

There's only so much they can do on that front.

fair play to them in DD, they're slowly getting there.

DD is very popular for buyers in the uk too I've been told by many a Brit......for those looking to buy "toys" like classic cars, boats, jet ski's etc, from Ireland on the CHEAP, and ship back over to the Uk.......

Aye, I friend of mine bought a Porsche in Dublin not so long ago and the last prestigious cars the Dealer had sold were all for export.

I like DoneDeal but if it had a questions and answers section like TradeMe it would be first class. It definitely helps out the buyer.

It would just turn into adverts.ie where you're offered a swap for a can of baked beans and a woman's weekly

I have to say that I am not a big fan of this new system..Sitting in work here looking through Donedeal has almost become a past time for me..and now I can never tell where I have left off from the last time I was flicking through the numerous and sometimes peculiar adds of Donedeal..check this out http://cars.donedeal.ie/for-sale/cars/3970210

The question is only displayed when the Seller answers it so you don't have to answer it if you don't want to. I lived in NZ for years and bought three or four cars from it and sold them aswell. Bought and sold over 40/50 other items on it too. I suppose it could turn out like adverts but don't answer the questions!

I preferred the old setup where it showed how old the ad is..
