    Hey,

So I'm free from work for the month of January but due to other commitments, I only have 7 - 10 days to play around with to take a holiday.

January is a funny month for weather this side of the continent. I would love a bit of heat, don't really care about partying but if it was there it would be nice, and would love new experiences.

So boardsies, can anyone recommend somewhere? We are a married couple in our late 20's....

    Thanks a mill!

Have been to Sharm El Sheikh in January and have to say it was really nice. Nice weather, something completely different from the normal sun holiday and good value for money. Stayed in the Mari Tim Hotel and would recommend it. Right on the beach and nice rooms with 2 pools and nice restaurants. Hotel offers many different day time excursions and trips, like quad biking in the desert, day/night trips to Bedouin camps in the mountains, diving courses (some of the best dive spots in the world are off the coast of Sharm El Sheikh) and many other exciting and fun activities. There is a good night life also with many nice bars and restaurants offering many types of wonderful local and western cuisine. Most hotels offer full board and I would recommend looking into this as it works out quite cheap. Have included a trip advisor link you should check it out for and see what you think. All the best
