Guys, wondering if you could help me out, me and a few friends play golf a bit, usually once a week, we tend to play a mix of about six different courses, (mid to high handicappers) the things is though I wouldn't mind getting a proper handicap so I can play in open comps but I'm not a fan of playing the one course all the time so don't wanna pay ridiculous prices, I'd be happy enough to just play a course the few times to get the handicap, anybody got any suggestions?? Apologies if this has been posted before

I heard Dublin Mountain is offer a deal under €200 where you get your GUI handicap and then pay a small green fee every time you want to play theor course. May be worth checking out.

200 is the cheapest for that type of membership other options like Dublin mountain would be, Corballis, Elm Green, Stillouge, Swords Open all for between 200-300 hundred to get your handicap and them pay a green fee each time you play. A bit further out would be Hollywood Lakes think 400 and Bellewstown 260 for that option. Joining a club would mean cheaper weekend green fees and the option of playing opens every day of the week.
