    Just read this guys book, "Amusing ourselves to Death".

    This is an interesting interview of Neil. I think he was pretty much bang on with every thing he says. You can easily see how facebook would fit into this interview or even mobile phones...



    I actually deleted my social networking accounts after watching that interview!

    What do you think of Neil Postmans views?

    He was very much inline with Marshall Mcluhan

    I've recently read Nicholas Carr's book, "The Shallows" which explores this theme as well (and references McLuhan quite a fair bit).

    Unreal that this interview is 17 years old! Talking about information junkies and information glut. He's basically predicting "Big Data" here.
