Best place to get a car on finance

    Looking to get a car on finance for something between 3-6K but I dont know where to look any recommendations?

    You'll be looking at older cars, you won't get much of a hire purchase for that, I'd suggest a loan anyway.

    The banks generally will not finance anything over 4 years old these days.

    OP, on your budget you will be better off getting a personal loan from a credit union. Their lending rate is usually lower, they are more flexible with repayments and the car doesn't have to be secured on the loan.

    Already got 1 with the credit union,im sure ill just have to save for bit instead.

    Definately Credit Union. You can usually extend their loans fairly easily provided you can show the ability to repay it, so it might be worth investigating topping up your existing CU loan.
