got quote in april for 2400 but was told it was because i just got my permit it wouldbe a bit dearer than in a few months time so now my cheapest quote is 3650 and they say my lincense has nothing to do with it is just the price si im wondering if any 17 year old male got insurance within the last few weeks for under 3k…

Unfortunately OP you're in the highest insurance bracket. Have you tried ringing a broker?
