I've a signal problem (not stronger than 30% but quality is 100%) with my upc box

I think the problem is with the box because I swapped it one from another room and the signal was fine

So just wondering does anyone know how to fix it or will I have to get the box replaced

Did you try moving it back. Are you sure it's not the cable instead of the box itself that is giving the weak signal? Did you put in the cable yourself?

How many outlets and boxes are you paying for? If it's only one then they will only support one outlet working 100%?

i'm paying for the two, certain its the not the cable, even put in new ones, like I said the signal was fine when I put in the other box

You haven't explained what you mean by signal problem. Is it just the reading low? If the quality is showing 100% then the signal is probably good enough.

    What problems are you seeing?

UPC provide the box and service so if you have a problem ring them on 1908 and report it. Keep a note of exactly what happens on what channels. If you have added cables and splitters yourself remove them.

Some boxes can be better than others, so an increase in signal might help.
