    Hi all,

    Ok.

I have my own insurance in my own name ( 18 years old ), my sister is on as a named driver and we have a corsa that we have to share.

I am desperately trying to save up for my own car, would it cost much more if i were to add a second car in my name to the insurance?

Im pretty sure it would be cheaper if she got her own policy for the 2nd car as she is female. This will change in January 2013 when all male/female quotes will be equal because of EU legislation.

You cant add a second car to a policy; you would need to take out a second policy for the car.
