Recently i updated my satellite xml file for rescanning my DM800. Ive noticed now my 23.5 East Bouquet is greyed out. Ive noticed that the satellite xml file lists this as 23.3 and not 23.5. Would this be the problem? Is it easy to change the 23.5 satellite position back to 23.5 from 23.3 in excel?

Yep Snaps, you can rename the section headers to 23.5 and it should work fine.
I use it to merge sat positions on 9e/10e to allow me receive both sats with 1 LNB.
I'd recommend Notepad++ for editing the .xml file though as it is a lot more user friendly with the layout of the sats.xml data than Excel is.

regarding your 9/10east combination ive just added both satellites to the satellite setup and have them both as LNB 5.

Thanks for your advice, i got a new satellite xml file from a different site. http://satellites-xml.org/, this still has 23.5 as the position
