Anyone wanna start a metal type band?

    Note: DUBLIN BASED.... I forgot to put that in the thread title.

    I've been meaning to get a band going for a while. Sure why not now. I'm looking for another guitarist aswell as me (lead or rhythm), bassist and a drummer. Once we get this going we'll look for a singer. I'm 22 so people 20-25 preferred.

    We'll be primarily a metal band with some other influences. My influences are Metallica, Trivium, Pantera, Sylosis, Avenged Sevenfold, and oddly enough Green Day for their song structures/musicianship and some other ****e I can't be arsed typing... you get the picture. I like those bands because their music is cool, catchy and slick. Personally I like riff driven metal, fast drums, killer basslines and clean vocals with some screaming... nothing too dark.

    This is just something for a bit of craic.     Like jamming once a week in a rented space with a few beers or whiskeys and if some gigs or original songs come out of it.... Grand.

    Also if you have a wee demo of you playing that'd be appreciated. Obviously not necessary though.
