Mature Application for Enterprise Computing

I'm looking for a little bit of advice on what likely entry requirements there would be for a mature student wanting to study Enterprise Computing.
I realise there are no exact requirements for mature students but am wondering if my circumstances are likely to allow me to succeed.

I left school with fairly average GCSEs 3 Bs + 4 Cs, completed a fairly basic IT cert and got a placement out of it doing Graphic Design for almost two years, was made redundant and have been in a non-IT manufacturing job for the past eight years.
I started to study just over a year ago and got Comptia A+ certified, then Cisco CCENT a few months ago and will have my Cisco CCNA before I make my DCU application. Also am starting a short 15 credit Open University openings English course in a months time to get back into essay writing and reading for study etc. With plans to start a fairly advanced maths module with Open Uni running from March until just before I (hopefully) start my degree - this is in preparation for IT Mathematics module in first year.

Am shooting for a career in IT management, maybe consultancy, perhaps e-commerce.

Has anyone any advice first of all on what I could do to strengthen my application in the coming months?
If I nail my personal statement does this application look strong enough to get an interview? I'm sure if I were to get that far, my enthusiasm for the course and subject matter should help.
I'm 27 now and now have the ability to relocate to Dublin and the finance in place to survive student life, it will mean the world to me to get a place so hugely grateful for any words of wisdom here! :)

Include a good CV in your application - brief is best. Show educational experience and a passion for IT and all experience/courses, etc.
You will be called for interview usually late June to early July and interviewed by 1 or 2 academics from the programme.
Talk up what you have done that is IT related and all courses and the CCNA type stuff. They will also want you to try and prove you can handle the maths, as you would be in with a class of leaving cert maths people.
Qualifications, experience and passion for IT are the key things for the interview.
    Good luck.

Thanks for the advice, luckily enough the courses I've done and my own knowledge from years of computer geekery have a fair bit of overlap with the modules in first year, im hoping that will be advantageous.
I'll leave them in no doubt of my passion for the content of the degree, it'd be a dream for me to get to study this stuff full time. Hopefully I can get that across coherently at the interview - i'll be a bundle of nerves!
The maths course I'll be doing should be over half way through by interview time, hopefully I can get a reference from the OU tutor or at least show some evidence that the course is bringing my skills up to third level quality. The content of the 6 month maths course seems adequate to prepare for the IT Mathematics module. I had no problem with higher maths at GCSE level and could easily have went on to do a maths A-Level had I not been a feckless teenager!
