Well lads, Im not really sure where to put this thread so I thought id put it up here and hope for the best,

Has anyone ever applied for and / or went on the washington Ireland programme, I am wondering about the logistics of it and how to apply

If you are looking for a basic understanding on what it is :

"For over 17 years, WIP has supported the peace and reconciliation efforts in Northern Ireland and Ireland.
Identifying young people with a commitment to service and a track record of leadership, we build their skills through work experience, educational opportunity, and hands-on citizenship both at home and in the US.
Through these efforts, WIP is building the next generation of leaders that will achieve a peaceful, stable and prosperous future for Northern Ireland and Ireland."
