Presumably you have a spare somewhere else in the country? Cheapest option by far is a train/bus/lift to wherever the key is and back.

Nope,I was moving a few weeks back and it went on the missing list.It might be around but I have no idea where so its gonna have to be replaced.

Ah, I assumed when you said no spare in Dublin, you had one somewhere. Yeah its going to cost a fair whack. Not sure if a mobile guy can go to the car and do it. If not your looking at getting it recovered to somewhere before they can even go about opening it, then making a key.

I was talking to the insurance and they said theyll tow it free of charge to wherever I want to go but I don't know where to go.Is it a dealers I go to or is there specialist for this kinda stuff ?

Best bet is to ring a couple of the places that do car kkeys and the like and ask can they do it with a locked car and no key to copy. Take it from there. If they cant it'll be a main dealer job. Maybe PM Nissan doctor. Not sure if its his area of expertise though, but if not he can probably send you in the right direction.

Had this happen to me in Bray a few years back with a passat,(key got locked in due to a dodgy door sensor and my stupidity). Rang the locksmith locally who offered a mobile service and he opened it with zero damage. Had a barrel pick of some sort. Maybe others do the same

I've been through this recently and it's a pain in the arse. If you have an immobiliser you're in even more trouble as it wont be as cheap or quick in getting it fixed.

You need to get onto Nissan asap and get a Key code. For a price they should be able to cut you a key and programme it to your immobiliser. It could take a day or two for Nissan to get the key code from HQ. I would imagine it's going to cost about 70-120euros. Don't bother moving the car as you're still going to have to get a key cut for it.

Long and the short of it is that you're not moving it without a immobiliser key.

No this subject, I only have one key for the BMW and don't fancy the bill if I lose the key. Any idea where would be a good place to get it done, have the key there so take it wouldn't be a big job ?

but to answer your question the cheapest possible way is for free:

    http://www.wikihow.com/Hotwire-a-Car

most garage mechanics will get into a car for you - they use a long metal wire - 4 foot long...
scre driver to start ignition or follow the link to hot wire if it your car - not ilegal. perhaps call local garda b4 and ask them what your doing... also call local garda station and ask was a key handed in

Immobliser will stop you from starting it by hotwiring it. And you wont get past the steering lock without a key either...

Without destructively destroying an ignition barrel, there is no way. Your way isn't free at all as ignition barrels are expensive. It would work out dearer then waiting to get a key programmed and cut from a dealer.
