Wall Decals - Good or Bad idea?

I'm currently in the process of decorating my six year old daughter's playroom, I was thinking of using some wall decals to add a little interest to the walls.

I'm just wondering if any of you have used them? Are they difficult to put on the walls and do they look good?

Where is the best place to buy them?

    Many thanks in advance :)

I used decals on my garden shed, which I bought from tinydeal.com I've never used them inside, but as they're designed for outside I covered them with clear varnish. They were easy enough to use tbh and I can't see them being all that difficult to remove if & when I want to.... :)

    Thanks very much Tabitharose!

You did a really nice job on your garden shed, sheds normally look so bland and boring.

Got ones from the US of A on an auction site for the wee boys room, and I think they look great. Easy to put on, and they peel off easily without leaving sticky stuff behind.

May want to check out this UK site for ideas
