I am thinking of getting this bad boy for the Samsung Galaxy Note (1).

Anybody use these - and if so, what's your experience? Reason I ask is that there seems to be conflicting opinions posted over on xda - some people saying no different from OEM, others saying they live up to expectations.

    Second Question...

If I go for that battery, I'm going to have to source a different phone cover (as the phone will be thicker). Anyone know where I can find one that will suit this?

When i had my SGSII i just bought two normal sized higher capacity batteries and a separate charger. No big back, no having to source a new cover, just a genuine doubling of battery life. That said the spare battery did fit into my wallet so that might make things more awkward on the note?

Thanks for posting. I was forced into doing this with my previous phone, the Toshiba TG01 (the micro usb connector became faulty - meaning could no longer charge it). It worked to an extent....although I think this time, I'd be happier to deal with the bigger back on the Note rather than to be cycling batteries....but that's dependent on IF the mugen does what it says on the tin. It's over 2x the capacity of the OEM battery....on paper at least. Would like to hear of anyone that has real time experience of mugen batteries though....

I got caught between stools - and couldn't make up my mind which way to go. Decided to get a second OEM battery (but bought off ebay so quite likely is not actually oem). As an afterthought, I also bought a chinese 5400mAh battery - but not the mugen. Got it for cheap but happy with it. Has not been used that much - and although I get the impression its not fully 5400 in reality, it's still fine for the money - and is definitely most of the way there. The mugen can't be justified at that price if they can't be seen to be giving the full specified capacity.
