I had a nokia 6810 back in the day. A real shame they don't make phones in that format anymore.

A Nokia slide face phone. I can ring people and text and it even has a camera. I always like to keep on top of technological advancement.

Android, it sometimes bugs me bug can't stand the feeling you're being fisted by Steve Jobs' ghost that comes with owning Apple stuff.

nokia 6230. Because I only want my phone to text and make calls, nothing else. I hardly even use it anyway. I cant stand touch screen phones, so fiddly and annoying to use. You cant even text without having to look at the touchpad/make 1000 mistakes because the buttons are too small.

Im in my early 20's, in case anybody was wondering.

I know what a gloryhole is ! Well I think I do, but maybe its changed its meaning in the last 20 or so years !

Ill probably be sorry I asked !

Some old Nokia thing - it makes calls, sends texts & has Snake. That's all I really want from a phone.

Samsung Tardiphone 100. You can drop it and it bounces. It does stuff, just not much and not fast and has a very small screen. Feckers ring me on it. I hate it a bit.

Ah i miss my 3210...what a great phone!

Am an iPhone convert now...ONLY because i bought my sisters 3GS off her for 50 quid. Don't have the cash or the inclination to get the upgrades though and have mini heart attacks everytime i drop the iphone (a lot)! I got surprisingly addicted to the feckin thing so quickly but would happily go back to the bomb proof nokia if i had to.

I use what ever my mam gives me when she buys a new phone.
Right now I have an iPhone 3G and I'll have an iPhone 4 in week or two when my parents comes home from holidays and she buys the 5.

Last time I bought a phone I spent about €60 on a Sagum(?). It worked, untill it didn't. That's when I started on the hand me downs. Free stuff is awesome.

It appears to be cooler having an old brick Nokia nowadays than having an iPhone or Galaxy SIII... Don't get it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,438 ✭✭✭✭El Guapo!

    iPhone 4S
I always said I'd never get one and had no need for one, but since I got it I couldn't see myself ever going back to a normal phone.

Same same. Bought the Nokia N95 a few years back and that was my first taste at an internet style phone. Have the iPhone 4 now and could never go back to not having a smartphone.

I have a Nokia 6700. Does the job well enough, has a 5MP camera.

I have no real requirement for a smartphone as of yet, or the money for one either :p

Same here. I can't remember the last time i used one. I think i stepped into one to get out of the rain a few years ago. I still have some old phone cards at home :)

(For what it matters, I'm an android user. But I liked Windows 7. It was very intuitive. i just felt it was missing features. But it was still better than first gen iPhones or android. I'll be very interested in seeing what a windows 8 phone is like. )
