Suggestions ?

There really isn't a whole lot 2 people can do on a Friday night if they don't want to drink, go out for dinner, cinema, or sit in....

Any suggestions on what to do ? Or what do people do ? any events going on or anything worth going to around Dub city center?

Go to Oktoberfest! I know it's basically about beer but the food is awesome and it's cheesy and a good laugh. Maybe just drink soft drinks and enjoy what else it has to offer?

There are also bands playing, comedy gigs to go to, you could have some mates round for a game of poker or something (but again, this usually involves drink), get a takeaway or I dunno, try cooking something adventurous (lots of effort for a Friday night though!).

There are plenty of options

EDIT: Sometimes myself and the boyfriend just get a coffee and stoll through Trinity and the like, just to hang out and pass time together.

Have a bath/shower.(together)
Light a candle.

Any of these can be done in combination with the other, your choice.

Nah, I went on Wednesday. It's free in, so you only pay for the stuff you want. Beer is expensive but I had one large tankard (10 euro plus 5 euro glass deposit) and I was pretty tipsy Cheap date eh?

Word of warning though, if you want to buy beer after 10, you have to have bought food there. Something to do with their late license :rolleyes: Just bought mine at 9.45 and it was graaaaaand but if the OP isn't drinking, it won't be an issue.
