Hotpoint condenser dryer stinky

Right for the last 8/9 months I haven't been able to use our dryer cos it smells of damp and stagnant water. I've cleaned the water filter with disinfectant in case it was coming from there, cleaned fluff filter and water filter. Left the door open for over a month smell was mostly gone so I said I'd try use it again.…

Right for the last 8/9 months I haven't been able to use our dryer cos it smells of damp and stagnant water. I've cleaned the water filter with disinfectant in case it was coming from there, cleaned fluff filter and water filter.
Left the door open for over a month smell was mostly gone so I said I'd try use it again. After one go (using the scented sheets and only 2 trousers) the stink is back. I used two scented sheets and no clothes for one go aswell and no it's still gank.
Any ideas before I throw it out?
