Dublin's loss is Hawthorns gain it seems.

Ciaran is off to Oz to play AFL.

Massive loss to Dublin GAA & of course to his club Castleknock.

Can't blame him though. Worth a shot. No point having regrets down the line.

Big loss for the Dubs. Very bright spark against Mayo and looked a star for future. Similar to Hanley here, lets hope he returns in the not too decent future.. need the best

Shít we've really lost one for the future there, best wishes to Ciarán though great opportunity that can't be passed up.

to be honest, I'd be more upset if he was lost to rugby or soccer

Best of luck to the lad
A lot of the young Irish players who go over end up coming back.
It's a huge adjustment to an oval ball, more physical tackling and lifestyle change

just on afl, Tommy Walsh has just missed out on playing in a Grand final, he is one of three Sydney reserves for the final.

best of luck to Ciaran, big step for him, but hope he does well

What's the difference, they're all different sports. At least if he was playing rugby or soccer he would be a lot closer to home. Can't be easy moving far away from friends and family at a young age.

Best of luck to him, can't blame the lad for trying to carve out a career.

It was well known he was away at least he got a run out for the seniors and Dublin got All Ireland U21 title out of him.

watched him playing hurling for his club yesterday in a game that promoted them to intermediate status. He will be sorely missed by his club and county but hopefully he will return in the next few years and best of luck to him
