Hi there, So i Have a DVR that I want to connect to a few monitors (currently 2 monitors might connect third)

Currently the set up is as follows

DVR Wired to -> SVGA 2 Way Splitter -> Two PC monitors.

I want to place these monitors a fair distance from the DVR and splitter. Is there a "skinny" VGA long cable I can get. Or some way of wiring this up without an unsightly big chunky black cable going to the monitors. I found this link about converting VGA cable to Cat 5  Am i on the right track here and if so why dont they sell these in shops?
