    Hi All,
Booked a 10 day trip to Ko Samui Thailand this week, heading off the end of January. I am flying Dublin > London > Kuala Lumpar > Ko Samui. I have a few questions for anybody who has been before:

The Flight from London TO KL, is with Malaysia Airlines. Do they provide free food and drink for the flight?

I am 99% positive that I dont need a visa for the trip, can anyone confirm? (I am not going to any other countries when I land)

Ive never been on a multi trip flight before and I was wondering how exactly does the process work?

Im sure I will think of more questions!
    Thanks

You won't need a visa for Thailand anyway. You'll have to fill in a card before you go through arrivals, make sure you keep the section they give you. Saves a bit of hassle of having to get another one before you fly out (esp if your cutting it tight for time).

With regard to how multi trip flights work, do you mean luggage or what?

Meals will be provided, not sure about booze though, unlikely but I'd hazard a guess that soft drinks would be included.

Thanks for the reply. I know people who say the flight normally includes free booze, but this has been with KLM/Ethiad/Bangkok airlines. Nobody I know has flown with Malaysian airlines before!

In terms of the multi trip, yes baggage, tickets, not sure how it works!

London-KL you'll be fed twice probably. Malaysian will give you a couple of drinks too. Their food's pretty good.
You don't need a visa for Malaysis or Thailand.
Other stuff will depend on which airlines you're flying Dublin-London and KL-Samui.

Thanks for that. It was more so the London - KL flight I wanted to know! Dont fancy a 13 hour flight with nothing free! :D

Im flying Dub > Lon with Aer Lingus
    Lon > KL Malaysia Airlines
KL > Koh Samui with Bangkok Airlines

Reverse order on the way home!

I've only flown with MH domestically and they were very good, so I'd expect you'd be well taken care of on a long haul route like LHR-KUL.

Free drinks and grub would be a given tbh.

Don't worry about anything you'll be we'll looked after on Malaysian airlines, sit back and enjoy the food drink and the ife you'll have up to date movies, your bags go from dublin straight through so no worries there.... And enjoy samui it's a lovely island...
