Hole in back of fireplace

    Hi Folks,

    looking for some advice on filling a hole in the back of a fireplace the ambers and ash have all fallen into a small little access area id imagine it was for the old boiler but the place was full of smoke when i opened the access door - so basically im looking for some sort of heat resistant filler or metal plate to fill the hole any ideas ?? Cheers

    Try fire cement.. comes in a tub and available in different sizes.
