    Hi guys

Just looking for some advice. I was driving this evening behind 2 cars, I was talking on the hands free kit at 70 in a 60 zone, I was driving behind 2 cars (all doing the same speed), a Garda speed van was parked on the side of the road, It flashed as the first car was approaching and all 3 of us braked, it didn't flash again. Would this have caught the first car or all 3 of us? Thanks in advance, sorry about the long post

If it could see your reg plate, you're caught.

I wasn't talegating so I assume it could, but would they have time to get all 3 regs?

It's hard to say, it's a computer working the camera and the frames per second they can do is very quick, you wouldn't know till you get a fine in the post.

Thanks, I actually thought it was a manned camera. That's why I thought it wouldn't catch all 3 cars with one flash but I asse a computer system could

    Update:

Hey everyone, just said I'd give everyone an update, I haven't received anything on this so I'd say I'm in the clear (I hope).

If it flashed then its the old style garda camera vans and not the new ones. It would only get the front car. It would have to flash three times which they cannot do as it could cause an accident. Your grand.

If it was the new Garda Speed fans ones where they use infrared flashes where you cant see any flash. Then you probably would have gotten done.
