    Hi,
    Leaving it 'til the last minutes as usual.
    Off hiking at the weekend. Does anyone know of an outlet for hiking gear in Athlone or Longford area? I know of one in Mullingar, but it's too out of the way for me.

    union chandlery in ballykeeran in athlone. stock alot of walking gear. Google them they have a few spots. hope this helps

    no bother..im certain they have northeast and berghaus and maybe grasshoppers gear. best of luck.
