Hi. Recently bought some new monitor audio speakers for my tv. My centre speaker is the Bx Centre:

My tv unit is also made of wood.

The centre speaker will be lying on this wood. Will this affect the sound somehow? Should I rest some foam in between the speaker and the tv unit?

(i know you have to do this with studio monitors when it comes to recording/mixing music).

    Thanks.

    Zak.

a couple of blobs of blu tac will isolate the speaker and keep it in place.
