I'd there anywhere that does career advice for adults?

My career guidance councillor in school wasn't much good, pushing me in the total opposite direction to what I wanted to be in & now in my 40s having had a succession of sales jobs (& facing the sack) I'm feeling it might be better to talk to a professional.

Go and do what you want to do - it'll be a long painful road but a rewarding one!

Check the 'private practitioners' link on the left hand side of the Institute of Guidance Counsellors's website www.igc.ie They deal with adults mainly
